Impressive. Remind me not to get on your bad side.

And I can why this place is called a "dream world."

Oh, I'm sure you don't have to worry about that~

But... yeah. You can see dreams. Weird, huh?!

Good to know.

Yeah, it is. I guess I better hope that I don't have any embarrassing dreams then.

Tell me about it. I'm afraid I'll dream something strange like... where I'll be a tree, or something.

That would be strange. I lived in a forest for eight years, but I don't think I've ever dreamed of something like that.

Though if you do dream of being a tree, I'll laugh. Just so you know.

It's okay. I think I'd probably laugh, too.

And really? Just in the forest? Did you... have a house there, or were you camping out?

My friends and I had a hideout up in the trees, complete with bridges, forts, tents, platforms, and everything. It took us forever to build, but it was worth it in the end. It was hard, having to leave it behind when I moved elsewhere.

Whoa! Really? That sounds really awesome! Why'd you go to all that trouble? And why'd you have to leave?

I don't think I'd ever want to leave something like that behind.

[He doesn't want to dampen the conversation's mood with details, so...]

We needed a home. And eventually, I wanted a new beginning, so I moved to Ba Sing Se with two of my closest friends. It wasn't too bad of a trade-off: Ba Sing Se is the capital of the Earth Kingdom, and the largest city in my world.

Oh. Well... I think I'd still like the tree fort myself. But I can see why you'd go there.

How many people live in Ba Sing Se? If it is the capital, I mean.

Yeah, I don't think I'll ever consider Ba Sing Se home, but I needed a change of scenery.

I'm afraid I didn't ask.

Ah, that's okay. Tokyo is a pretty big city too. I think the whole prefecture has... something like 12 million people? I dunno, I'm not too good with numbers. But it's big!

At least you have a change of scenery here, right~?

You should stop by sometime when you've got a moment or two. It's a strange place we're in... it'd be nice to make a new friend!

I'm always open to new friends, especially since no one from my world seems to be here. I'd get pretty lonely here otherwise.

By the way, I've been meaning to ask: What was that move you did with the blonde-haired girl? That was neat.

Yeah, I know how you feel. I haven't seen anyone here from my world either.

Oh, really? You think so? Thanks! It's called the Shouoken, but the adding ki to the punch is just something I've been messing with lately. It makes it hit harder, but ... well, I can't do it all the time yet.

I could teach you how to do it, if you wanted! I mean, probably.
