A quick shout out to Coco whose awesome new house is almost ready! So cool.
Work has been insane, but good. We've been working on this great project where we are decorating an apartment from scratch. We're getting all the vendors to loan the products for 7 months which is a very long time for a product loan, especially for expensive furniture, but it seems to be coming together. And very few people hesitated or turned us down which is nice. It's been interesting because in addition to calling in and negotiating for furniture, I've gone to the apartment site several times, am working with a woman in corporate who's totally fierce, and I have to deal with things like figuring out what wires need to be spliced in order to hang a $45,000 chandelier. The last few days were crazy because I had to help call in products for another story and it was just hectic and stressful. But it will all work out.
The first issue, our summer, with my name in it comes out in 2 weeks. Rock!
This weekend we are going to Buffalo for my sister's college graduation. I'm really proud of her because she's really not a school person but she's stuck with it and done pretty well. Next weekend, we're flying down to GA to meet our nephew, hooray!
