Out of all the people I want to talk about, and all the entries I plan on making, the first one was so hard to pick. I want to write about everyone who has affected me good or bad, people who have taught me things and people who have pushed me into things.
Dear Mrs Martin,
I was a big daydreamer when you taught me, I couldn't write fast (or well), and I had a hard time understanding certain aspects with learning, I was a young child and a lot more was expected of me than I could actually give at the time. Even though the school was small and there was only 1 class per year (something I never thought was strange, that was until I moved) you tried you hardest in involving me a lot. You helped me a lot with my learning disability and my speech (which was still pretty shaky at that age) and you pushed me and nourished my learning in areas I liked, I remember you telling my mum about how big a passion I had with art and how you could see that so obviously, as well as helping me with maths, you moved me up a booklet generally before the rest of the class because you saw potential.
You may and probably will never see this, but thank you for caring.
From that 6 year old girl, and 20 year old woman.
Rhiannon.
