My Sleater-Kinney Expirence!!!!
Okay, guess what I did on Saturday? I WENT TO A SLEATER-KINNEY SHOW MOTHER FUCKERS! Yes, I can honestly say it was the best day of my life! I have a fucking amazing story that I'd like to inform you guys about... My friends and I were eating in Pizza Pizza a few hours before the show started and then Lisa was looking out the window and was all "Hey, that chick across the street looks a lot lke Janet.." and I looked and I was like "Holy fucking fuck, that is Janet!!!" so we all got up and ran across the street almost getting killed by on-coming traffic. I ended up followng her into this restuarnt place and was like "Excuse me... Are you Janet??" Oh yes, I do feel like an idiot, but... I didn't know what else to say. It wasn't so bad, she just laughed and said "Yep!" and took pictures with us. I still don't know how to post pictures on this thing, but if any of you guys would like to see them just e-mail me at k_os_girl13@hotmail.com I will be more than happy to send pictures of my friends and Janet, and any of the pictues that I took at the show. I was in the front row! Okay, so back to the show. Dead Meadow opened for them, I was actually quite impressed. When Sleater-Kinney took the stage I honestly forgot how to breath, it was fucking intense! I took a few videos too... Oh man, Carrie is so sexy, she was RIGHT in front of me! Lisa and I were like the only people who were really going crazy and dancing at the show, Carrie looked right at us, pointed, laughed, and started dancing herself. Oh man... Also, Corin's voice was perfect, she hit every note. Janet... Well, what can I say about Janet? She did some fucking crazy fast beats and she didn't open her eyes once! It was like she wasn't even thinking at all. During "Modern Girl" Ms. Weiss played Harmonica and drums all at the same time. What a fucking cool chick! One more thing I have to say about the show... They played "Oh"!!! My fucking future wedding song.. Yes.. So, I'm sure you're all tired of me rambling about the show.. I have some other news, Friday I was drunk and got arrested, but it's all good now. Tomorrow is The Aprodisiacs (thanks Kirsten for inspiring the name!) first jam session as a full band.
