christine woke me up at the crack of dawn yesterday to inform me it was snowing. like.i.give.a.shit.
i hate winter.
anwyays. in other news. i went to stevens house the other night for dinner. i felt odd about going cause i dont like the idea of a boy of his indie persuasion making me dinner and considering he is a vegan, whatthehell was i gonna enjoy? let me break it down for ya..
he walked outside to meet me at my auto. he was in brown loafers, khaki cords, a lovely white button-down, and a blue cardigan. he thinks he's so hip and vintage. he escorts me to the dining room. we had tofu salad, tofu stir-fry, and tea. i actually didnt mind the tofu, it pretty much just tastes like whatever you put on it. but i was nervous cause there was in fact a candle aflame in the center of the table and i could tell how hard he really tried. what kills me about him is he has no ambition in life other than to be a trophy husband and he is so content with that and couldnt tell me enough how all he wants to be is a homemaker. i felt bad leaving him to meet up with christine and steph in providence but he knew i had double-booked and understood.
i'm seeing him tonight and i think i'm gonna ask him why he's so nice to me. he made me a mix cd which he's been working on for like 2 weeks now and i cant wait to tell him how fantastic he is.
