80th birthday party at the Five Point tonight, with food and drink at 1929 prices. i had 8 eggs, 4 slices of toast (gave teh bacon to a coworker), 2 sides of fries and half a beer for about $1.80. the gnosh wasn't especially well prepared and the beverage was awful, but what do you expect for ~a quarter apiece? dunno if it was worth waiting outside for two hours in 0c weather, but the atmosphere was an experience...
