momma's day
so, by the orders of my pregnant sister, my younger sis and i took my mom out shopping and we discovered lots of things about my mom that we've never thought of before.
1) we discovered where our stubborness comes from; not from da but from ma. da just has will powa.
2) she hates shopping.
3) loves quality clothing like soft silky like material. 'cuz she's french yo. (not really, lived there for a time and she's a seamstress so . . .)
4) will not go shopping unless store has a bathroom nearby.
5) consumed about a quart of water in less than an hour- no, it was less than fifteen. whut.
6) she wore these sexy red heels when she was young, now she refuses to wear anything less then half an inch of heel height shoes.
7) has the pickiest tastes in modern clothing. will absolutely not wear skirts. she used to but they don't really fit her now . . .
8) will not wear tailored shirts that will bring out her womanly shape. says she can make them better that that. onto 8a--->
8a) oh so very arrogant about clothing and cut of clothing. whut.
9) loves her pots and pans but wants to buy them 10 gallon plus pots at a hmong store so she can cook, about, five chickens at a time. she was more excited about these than clothing.
yeah, next time, for mother's day, i'll just get her something practical for the household. like maybe a pots and pans set. or maybe them bath sized pots . . .
