Interview from Erica

1. What's the best piece of advice Chrissi's ever given you?
Well, it wasn't actually advice, but it was something she said about me.
We were talking about using one word to describe another person's life, and her word for me was "full." She meant it in a good way, that I'm just full of all the good stuff. I use that as advice that I just need to keep full of all sorts of things: love, fun, chaos (in a good dose), education, friends, family, all the great things one should be full of.

2. What's your favorite thing about being an auntie?
I don't think I've got just ONE favorite thing, but there are a few things.
One of the top things is that there's always someone to leave you little messages on your answering machine during the day, to cheer you up, or make you laugh (Thanks to Gabe, I get alot!)
Another thing: you get to learn alot, mostly about raising children. let me tell you: being an aunt is a good form of birth control (and I don't mean that in a bad way.) It just means that I know quite a bit about what it will potentially be like as a parent. I don't need that in my life just now!
You also get to buy all the cool toys, clothes, and candy because  you're an Aunt, and that means for me, being the "Bad Aunt"---Candy for breakfast, complicated/noisy/messy toys, all that fun stuff.

3. Since I know you're into the true crime stuff, who do you think is the most intriguing true crime figure?
If we're talking Criminals....uhm. Gosh. Since I just finished the book, Zodiac was pretty bad ass. The fact he hasn't been found is even better. Oddly enough, Charles Manson is very intriguing-he never killed anyone, but is in prison for life, and all the stuff that surrounds the Family is very intriguing. Good question.

4. What's the sweetest thing The Boy has ever done for you?
Right off the bat, I can think of 2 things:
1. One day, he stayed in my apartment while I worked during the morning. I had left him a note that morning when I left. He met me downstairs when I got out of work (it was a blizzard that day, so he had the truck warmed up) and I got upstairs to use the bathroom, and on the toilet paper roll-he had written on one of the squares "I love you-Ethan" (as opposed to from my OTHER boyfriend, Paco.) I keep it in my wallet.
2. Our one year anniversary he sent me a half dozen roses at my apartment. That was pretty sweet.

5. What did you learn (doesn't that sound like a book report?) from that Marilyn Monroe special you watched?
wellllllll, I learned ALOT. first-the photos of the crime scene were lost/stolen from the file many years ago, which caused problems with recreating it for the special. Also, the samples of her organs and tissues from the autopsy were lost afterwards, so it was hard to determine the toxins and heath of Marilyn after the autopsy.
Most importantly-It was a suicide. Not accidental, not murder. It was suicide. Quite sad.

If anyone wants me to "interview" them-lemme know. I'll give you 5 questions to answer!
