needs more Emma/Manny fic
I should be way more embarrassed about this but I am in Degrassi alumni heaven right now. One of the tumblrs I follow linked to Cassie Steele's (Manny) myspace tonight and from there I have found twitters and pictures of Cassie and Miriam MacDonald (Emma) being total BFFs in real life and I AM SO PLEASED.
Ok so first of all? Cassie's music is legit awesome! I, somewhat ashamedly, have some of the songs from the Degrassi Goes Hollywood movie that she sings and I knew I liked her voice, but I'm really digging her music! But Manny was always my absolute favorite, so maybe I'm biased.
Also she is still totally gorgeous.
lol okay, that one's ridiculous but I still kind of like it.
Ugh, she's so beautiful.
I should probably feel weird about *______* over her, considering the first time I saw on screen, she was 11.
But she's 20 now and I will not feel guilty.

Anyway, like I said, I found Cassie's twitter and thus, a ton of old school Degrassi kid's twitters. I think my favorite is Lauren Collins' aka Paige. She retweeted links to Paige/Alex news! And she and Adamo Ruggiero (Marco) went to a Lady Gaga concert together and she tweeted to her all earnestly about it! She and Adamo seem to also still be BFF which is totally appropriate. His twitter has a couple gems too, including asking Stacey Farber (Ellie) "@staceyfarber18 is this really my first TV girlfriend on twitter!? wanna go out for C, as in Coffee?" LOLOL AWW :D
Stacey has some great updates too, including tweeting to some (obnoxious) Degrassi fan twitter about being "her own favorite suicidal ginger" and saying she would have liked Ellie and Jimmy and the absolute best updates I found all night:
Can someone please explain what the Degrassi "boiling point" is? I don't get it. Thanks. :)

LOLOLOLOL I KIND OF LOVE HER. I love that the whole cast, past and current knows how absolutely fucking insane that show is and totally embraces it.
Speaking of Degrassi alum, I read the updates from the Vampire Diaries Comic-Con panel and they were adorable. Nina (Elena) said she was the luckiest because she got make out with both Paul and Ian (Stefan and Damon). OT3! And apparently Ian Somerhalder is exactly like Damon and no one is surprised.
Comic-Con is really giving out the goods this year. I love this interview with the cast of Community, where when asked if they were Team Britta or Team Annie in regards to the Jeff-Annie-Britta triangle, Danny Pudi says "I'm team threesome!" and they talk about how much fun the paintball episode was and it's just adorable. And the Avengers news is kind of cool, too. I think Jeremy Renner is a really good pick for Hawkeye. But I am super annoyed that there are NO WOMEN, besides Black Widow. I mean, come on. Where's Wasp? And Ms. Marvel? Or Tigra? It really is too bad that X-Men is owned by a different studio, because I would love to see Scarlet Witch in this, too. Or in a sequel, at least.
But I am comforted by the fact that Joshua Jackson handed out HIS OWN Pacey fan fiction at his makeshift Pacey-Con. I don't even understand how that is real.
