The last scholarly weekend
Thank you to the two anonymous people who bought my LJ gifts! (and to the person who bought my graphics journal one too) The Tomrad-personalized gift kinda made my entire night. :D
There's been a lot going on and lists are the best way for me to formulate any thoughts, so lists!
Fandomy stuff:
-Jon and Tom and their girlfriends are on another double date tonight. :DDDDDD
-Vicky-T and MGG are totally dating. Tonight she updated her twitter talking about how glad she is that MGG's tent isn't boys only (for those that do not enjoy the ridiculousness that is Matthew Gray Gubler, he makes a Christmas tent to sleep in during the holidays). She also posted a picture of a ferris wheel and thanked him for a magical night in LA. There was also an update of her talking about how she liked boys with dark circles under their eyes (there's an entire segment of one of the Criminal Minds DVDs making fun of MGG for his dark undereye circles) but she deleted it. She also deleted one from earlier today but I was able to save that one:
Yes @JeffreeStar that's generally the case. I only know of one gorgeous guy from Vegas, he's now in LA though ... Good luck finding one!
Yes, the Panic boys are from Vegas, but let's be honest, she's totally talking about Goobler Boobler. And that's kind of fucking hilarious and awesome and adorable.
-Sisky is obviously bored. He's been updating talking about giving Chicago kids bass lessons (can you even imagine?) and getting a job for the hiatus and how he'd never leave TAI because they're his flesh and blood (&Sisky;) and tweeting to Jon Walker about going sledding and having dreams about Shaq. Sisky-Biz, I love you so much.
-Switching fandoms, but Blake Lively hosted SNL tonight! I thought she did really well, actually. The skits were not amazing, and they really didn't give her a whole lot to work with, but she did way better than I expected her too. She was also generally adorable. And Rihanna was great, too. Her digital short was probably the funniest segment of the whole show.
Life stuff:
-I've been living in the multimedia computer labs the past two days. I am 98% finished my website that is due Tuesday, I just have to fix some link color issues that I was just not in the mood to do tonight (also I didn't want to miss Blake on SNL). The other things I have are a stupid geology test and 5-10 page research paper due next Wednesday. Oh I have to touch up a letterhead for Monday. For my last week of finals, that's not too bad. I'm actually more stressed about getting all of my shit out of my dorm this week than anything else.
-I really do not believe that I'm graduating. It really weirds me out and I'm not sure it has hit me yet. It's incredibly surreal.
Internet stuff:
-I have completely switched over to Google Chrome. Firefox has just been a piece of shit ever since I upgraded up it (and it was being shitty before, too) and there are only a couple of add-ons that I really miss, so it's a pretty even trade. Chrome seems to be adding extensions all the time, too, so it shouldn't be long before more of the ones I used in FF catch up.
-I have gotten myself addicted to yet another horrible puzzle game. :( This one is actually hard and I sometimes have to restart the level to actually beat it. I love stupid flash games way more than anyone should.
