"For a moment there I thought we were in trouble."
I stayed up entirely too late watching a movie again. Tonight it was Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. I'd seen parts of it when I was younger (like 11) but it'd been so long it barely even counts. The main things I took away from this movie were as follows:
-No men have ever been as attractive as Paul Newman and Robert Redford. Marlon Brando is close, though.
-I haven't shipped a threesome so much since Han/Leia/Luke. I might even ship Butch/Sundance/Etta more. I mean, seriously, am I supposed to come away from this movie thinking any differently?
This time of year all I want to do is watch movies. I think part of it is that the "Oscar" (I don't know what else you'd call them) movies start gaining buzz, so I start getting really excited about movies again, and the other part is that it's cold and dark out and I just want to curl up with a good flick. And since most of the Oscar movies aren't out yet, I'm going through my text file of movies to see. Next up: The Great Escape and The Outsiders.
Firefox has been a piece of shit for me lately, so I downloaded Google Chrome. I really adore it and I would use it exclusively if Firefox didn't own me with its add-ons. I especially love how when you open a new tab, it gives you little screenshots of all the sites you've been to recently. And the themes are so much nicer, too. Also this "Inspect Element" feature kicks ass for web design shit.
And speaking of web design shit, guess what I get to do tomorrow? I get to drag myself up to the Multimedia labs and finish my portfolio website! Why I let my professor talk me into doing this piece of shit with Photoshop slices I will never know. And I have to go to the labs because a) I work better in there and b) I actually need our dual-screens because of the sheer amount of windows you need open to work on a website.
Wow, 6am. I should go to bed, now.
