I spent all day shopping with my mom. Two notable things that I bought were The Quilt (I think NICHOLAS SCHIMECA (This is all your fault is my favorite thank you in the history of forever. Also the typo is Travie's, not mine) and Lego Batman the video game. I am not exaggerating when I say it may be the best video game of all time. Making fun of Robin never, ever gets old.
Also, while I was in Best Buy today, "About a Girl" was on! I actually texted livejournal about this, but apparently it did not go through. Regardless, this made me more excited than anything should have, but whatever.
Something that did not excite me, however, was talking to my mother about the election. She just doesn't "trust" Obama because he's "in" with all these "Arab terrorists". I told her to stop being racist and believing the complete crap that McCain and Palin were peddling and she yelled at me, telling me "you young people" have "no idea what it's like in the real world" and this "Obama thing is becoming like one of those cults." She also bemoaned his lack of experience, which I was actually pretty excited about, since it let me tear into Sarah Palin and that made her laugh enough that we stopped talking about it. Oh Mom, what am I going to do with you?
And while this means nothing, really, while I was writing this, my drinking bracelet from Stoner Gaymo Weekend (aka Panic concert weekend) finally fell off tonight. This is the first time since March 1 that I do not have a concert drinking bracelet on my right wrist. It feels naked ;__; At least I still have my Bonnaroo bracelet.
Anyway, I took some pictures of my cats and shit while I was home. And since I'm that kind of cat owner,
here they are.
Contrary to what it looks like, Tigerlilly is not stoned.
Eddie used to weigh 24 pounds before he got the diabeetus. This is what he used to look like:
It's hard to believe it's the same cat, seriously.
Libby, our resident tranny cat, however is even bigger and in seemingly perfect health.
A rare picture of all the yellow cats together and not eating and/or wanting to maul each other.
Sugar Ray and Custer especially do not care for one another.
Sugar Ray has gotten so much healthier looking since I was home last. He also likes to lick my toes, now.
Custer is pretty much the same as ever.
And then there's Mona.
She's my favorite weirdo.
The other cats, Callie, Sam and Katie were either outside or at my dad's when I was taking pictures, so no new photos of them. :(
But if you would like to watch me be a crazy cat lady and Eddie do his tricks, you can watch this:
Anyway, here's some other random stuff.
The trees are so confused about whether or not to turn. Stupid global warming.
My mom and I cleaned my room tonight, so I decided to document it. Also, I've added lots of shit to my walls since last time I took pictures.
This is my lame little quote wall above my bed. I really kind of love it.
The one good thing about dorm rooms? Lots and lots of wall space.
And although I'm a few hours late, I am definitely wishing one of my most favorite people I've ever met through this crazy livejournal thing a happy birthday.
apostrophee, I hope you had an amazing birthday with lots of fun and relaxation, 'cause you deserve it. ♥
