So VH1 actually aired the premiere of the 2007 World Series of Pop Culture tonight, after the Charm School Reunion (oh shut up, like you didn't watch it) and of course, I watched it.
This is how big of a nerd I am. I kept a tally of all the questions I got right in each category. Does this make me a Ravenclaw? Probably.
Celebrity Feuds: 5 out of 6. I didn't know Kanye West pissed of Evel Knieval with a video of his.
Scary Movies: 5 out of 6. SO mad I missed the Amityville Horror one, but I was super proud I got Jacob's Ladder.
Commercial Jingles: 3 out of 6. Yeah, kinda sucked at that one.
Songs with references to mental illness (aka Looney Tunes): 3 out of 4. I hate that I missed "I Wanna Be Sedated" but I got "Maniac", so all was well.
Quentin Tarentino movies: 4 out of 6. Damn Tim Roth, I so should have remembered he was Mr. Orange.
'80s Hit Songs: 3 out of 4. That damn woman missed all of hers and her excuse was that she was only born in 1982. Bitch, I wasn't even conceived when all your songs came up and I knew them. Come on, "Rock the Casbah" bitch!
Physical Challenge (people who changed their appearance dramatically for a role): 6 out of 6. Fuck yeah. Also, I'd like to take this opportunity to thank my dad for showing me Full Metal Jacket at age 12.
And of the 4 Tie Breakers, I had answers left over to all of them once they were over, so suffice to say, I knew them pretty well. Animated Feature Films nominated for the Best Animated Feature Oscar (no one remembered Jimmy Neutron! Blasphemy), Steven Spielberg movies (And Sugarland Express wasn't even on the list, and that was his first. And no one said Duel either), Characters from the Pilot of Lost (I was yelling Walt the whole time, I knew all of those) and the actors who portrayed the Fellowship in Lord of the Rings (knew all of them too).
In total, I got 29/38 of the questions asked. And yes, I am going to keep track of this throughout the series, because I am insane.
My mother is a really bad mood from all the work she's been doing. Not that I blame her, 13 hour days do not sound fun. But Christ, I am sick of her yelling at me and never expressing any appreciation for the crap I do around the house. Oh my god I hadn't taken the trash out yet, I'm sorry. I did at least water all your damn plants and mow the lawn and feed the cats and make my own damn dinner and clean that all up and I cleaned up cat shit in the hallway, sorry I forgot about the trash.

ETA2: First, my keyboard is being weird. My shortcuts and shit dont work and I cant use the apostrophe or the backslash without quick find coming up and I cant use my arrows to scroll up and down on a page. WTF?
