I was bored and made a
tutorial list of all my favorites that I use, so if you're interested, check it out. :)
All you do is make a playlist of every music file on your computer, then play them. You must list the first twenty that play, why you have/like it, and your favorite lyric from that song, no matter how embarrassing.
1. AC/DC - "Walk All Over You"
I have it because AC/DC kicks ass. I love it because, like almost every AC/DC song, it's about getting laid.
Do anything you want me to / I'm gonna walk all over you
2. Taking Back Sunday - "The Blue Channel"
I have it because, well, I love Taking Back Sunday and I like because it's a good, angry emo-kid song.
And you're so guilty it's disgusting / He's been sneakin underneath your sheets and your hands / have been in places that they probably shouldn't go
3. Manchester Orchestra - "Don't Let Them See You Cry"
I have it because I wanted to see what the big deal about MO was and I like it because it's really mellow.
But the words just come and I write them as soon as I see them
4. The Clash - "Wrong 'Em Boyo"
OK screw the have it part, that's repetitive. I like this song because it's really upbeat and there's a saxophone solo.
Why do you try to cheat? / And trample people under your feet
5. The Strokes - "Razorblade"
It's the Strokes. I love the Strokes. The way Julian sings the lyrics always make you think their songs aren't as dark as they really are.
The world is in your hands / Or it's at your throat
6. CKY - "Escape From Hellview"
It's a horror movie song! How can you not love it?
so turn back the silence is deafening / turn back don't let them see you again
7. Incubus - "11 AM"
I LOVE this song for the opening chorus. DO NOT ASK ME WHY. I just do.
seven a.m. / the garbage truck beeps as it backs up / and I start my day thinking about what I've thrown away.
8. The Animals - "House of the Rising Sun"
Oh god, this song rules so hard. It's creepy and sooo '60s and surprisingly sung by a bunch of non-threatening looking British dudes.
Spend your lives in sin and misery / In the house of the Rising Sun
9. Gwen Stefani - "What You Waiting For?"
This is still my fav solo!Gwen song. The Alice in Wonderland video kicks so much ass
You know it all by heart / Why are you standing in one place?
10. The Who - "Christmas"
This actually is one of my fav tracks off of Tommy. Man, I haven't listened to Tommy all the way through in forever. I might after I'm done with this.
And Tommy doesn't know what day it is. / Doesn't know who Jesus was or what praying is. / How can he be saved? / From the eternal grave.
11. The Who - "Who Are You?"
Do I really need a reason to love this song? omg I'm totally about to go on a Who listening binge here in a bit.
I woke up in a Soho doorway / a policeman knew my name / he said go sleep at home tonight / if you can get up and walk away
12. Bad Company - "She Brings Me Love"
Dean has sex to this song. Period.
Sometimes I get a feeling / I just can't control
13. Alice Cooper - "Poison"
Alice Cooper rules. Not just his music, but the man is awesome. I love when metal guys are super intelligent and super nice.
I wanna hold you, but my senses tell me to stop / I wanna kiss you, but I want it too much
14. Incubus - "Dig"
It's Incubus. Doing a romantic song. wtf am I supposed to not like about it?
Sing this song / remind me that we'll always have each other
15. Incubus - "Nice to Know You"
Shuffle's being weird today. Anyway, love this song because it's all spacey and has references to Cousteau.
I haven't felt the way I feel today / In so long it's hard for me to specify
16. Incubus - "Aqueous Transmission"
OK WEIRD SHUFFLE. VERY VERY WEIRD.
Anyway, love this song because it's so calming. it's the ultimate chill song.
I'm building an antenna / Transmissions will be sent when I am through
17. Interpol - "Evil"
Ok, apparently we're stuck in the I's. That's ok. One of my fav Interpol tracks, it's so catchy dammit.
It took a lifespan with no cellmate / The long way back
18. Duran Duran - "What Happens Tomorrow"
Awww, uplifting, newish Duran Duran yay! Seriously though, Simon LeBon is so underrated as a lyricist, just sayin'.
Though we can't wait for a saviour / Only got ourselves to blame for this behaviour
19. The Donnas - "Take It Off"
Kickass chick band song. I wish they'd make more songs like this and "Fall Behind Me".
Don't waste time just give it to me / c'mon baby just feel me up
20. Boston - "Foreplay/Long Time"
LOOK AT THE TITLE. OF COURSE I love this song.
But in my mind, deep in my mind, / I can't forget about you
Well it's the 4th. Whoopty do. lol I have no spirit at all, sorry. I'm more excited about Transformers tbh.
