I think to myself, I had this theory six or seven months ago.
Then we started talking about god.
He said that I could be right; or I might not be, it isn't something meant to be understood... that essentially god is a thing beyond our understanding which is also eternal.
Or maybe everyone is god. Who knows. It isn't for us to know. We just have to live the best we can.
So I answer his question... "When I look at you and you see sadness, it's because I won't allow myself to believe that everything is going to be okay."
He tells me, "You should enjoy it for what it is while it is."
At least there's no denial.
