A great end of the week
There was a lot of awesome happening to me after wendsday. On thursday night I hung out with one of my older friends in the dining hall for about... 2 hours, eating thanksgiving dinner. Kind of a odd thing considering I really don't like the food that thanksgiving is glorified for. Bleh, turkey. After that we went to another dorm to see Alex who just had his appendix taken out and was in bad shape. I gave him a banana cupcake. He then decided that I was an idiot who lived in 1901 considering how much I hate technology and stay out of the modern world.
Then he started playing Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance". I didn't like it.
After a brief walk around my friend and I went back to my dorm where there was going to be a Drag Show. Her roomate came in a little later and the show started. One of the most toned and gorgeous guys I've even seen was parading around givign lap dances to the song "bad Roamnce". I love that so so much now, not becuase of the music, but becuase of how much awesome is mentally associated with it now.
The next day I finally cuaght the episode of House that I missed and it was so awesome. Otherwise I spent my entire daytime just sitting on my bed, not working on Nano, and being lazy. I seriously didn't take a shower until the sun went down. My dorm was suppossed to have a rave that night (I know, my dorm is incredible) but it was canceld on a account of drugs.
Instead we went on random busses through the city to find out where they go. We thought we got on the city shuttle but then my ability to read signs backwards came in and it was "Hotel Shuttle" . We laughed a little and ran through the hallways for the 6 minutes we had. On all the empty and unwritten on message boards I put "That's a Bingo" and I wonder if anybody was happy to see it.
We finally got back to the campus and I demanded that I get a jelly doughnut so we headed to the city proper and found a Dunking Doughnuts abotu five minuets from closing. But I got my doughnut. Checked out this musical/poetc/art thing for few minutes before they started bustign otu the love songs. Strangest part? My next door dorm neighbors were all there. Including one of the guys in the dresses.
Headed back to my dorm where we hungout in the art room talkign about Somalia with one of the RAs, our friend Mickey ahd to leave cuase he was on duty and there was a cop lurkign around the place. My friend left and I went back into my room and wrote like one sentence for Nano before just loosing myself to the internet again.
It's been a great time and I can only hope the aweosme continues the rest of the year.
