Please Shut Up About Magic.

More Persona 3! I'm just before the exams in July.

'I hate people with no common sense. I don't mean you, of course.' Hidetoshi, are you saying I've got common sense, or are you saying I'm the exception to your hatred?

(It's the latter, of course. Kosuke has no common sense at all. The inside of his mind is just a non-stop loop of the Magic Roundabout theme.)

Sort of intrigued by the weirdness of Kosuke and Yukari in the love hotel, their minds foggy and confused, while a disembodied voice tries to manipulate them into banging.

It's implausible that Mitsuru and Akihiko are also slightly awkward after their own haunted love hotel experience. The disembodied BANG YOUR FRIENDS voice should have no effect on them, given that Mitsuru entirely disregards the existence of sex and Akihiko doesn't know what it is. Don't question my headcanons. I'm right.

It's just occurred to me: other than Yukari, I could choose the party for that mission. Does the voice try to persuade Junpei and Akihiko to bang if you bring both of them along?

Junpei resents me for being the main character. If it's any consolation, Junpei, I have no idea why these people trust me in a leadership role either.

There's conflict between Yukari and Mitsuru as well! The characters of Persona 4 and Persona 5 felt very much united in their respective causes, so it's interesting to see the tension in the Persona 3 team.

I'm really curious to learn more about Mitsuru and Akihiko's history of fighting Shadows together, as kids who were shoved into this world way too early. I hadn't realised they'd been at it for years! Explain why I had to start exploring Tartarus from floor one, guys.

Knowing that Akihiko and Mitsuru have been acquainted for a good while does make me more curious about their awkward experience in the love hotel. The impression I get is that they're allies first and friends second and have never looked at each other as sexual beings in their years of knowing each other, and then a haunted love hotel made them look at each other that way.

Fuuka's very sweet. She just wants to be useful!

Junpei worrying that fighting is all he's good for is making me feel slightly bad for never having him in the battle team. I won't even give him that!

I'm so glad this game lets you feed a hungry cat back to health. This is exactly what I want to do in every game.

persona 3, persona
