I watched Manly's LP too! I'd vaguely heard of the game beforehand but didn't know it was free yet, so I was happy when his playthrough started showing up in my subscriptions. (He does a lot of freeware Japanese horror games, so I've been subscribed to him for a while.)
Sou didn't really interest me until it turned out he really did care about Kanna, which of course is right before he either dies or goes insane. It'll be fun/not fun to see how the Sou-lives route goes; I'm assuming it'll be even darker than the other one, and I'd put good money on Keiji dying in it. I guess that's the benefit of there being two routes for chapter 3--they probably wouldn't kill Keiji in both of them, right? ...right? (I felt such a weight off my shoulders when he said he was the Keymaster in chapter 2. Death games are stressful.)
My progression with Keiji/Sara was basically "hm I am a little uncomfortable, oh it's actually kind of cute but it's still fucked up, wait that actually makes it more interesting to me", so I will absolutely read any slightly unsettling Keiji/Sara-tinged fanfiction you write. It's a shame there's already a bad end where Sara leaves with Nao, because that dampens the possibility of there being one where Keiji is the Sacrifice and decides he'd rather save Sara than the rest of them regardless of her own thoughts on the matter. One of the things I desperately wanted but knew I was unlikely to get was a character admitting they were slightly concerned about the idea of Keiji being the Sacrifice for exactly that reason.
I'm much the same on Sou; I was going 'look, I already know one Kokichi and I don't need another' right up until the end of chapter two, where he caught my interest and promptly got killed.

Ha, I've also been pinning my hopes on this! (I was convinced for a while that Keiji was the one who'd taken Sara's Sacrifice card in the final trade, and I was extremely concerned.)
I can absolutely see Sacrifice Keiji escaping with Sara and leaving her going 'I BARELY EVEN KNOW WHO THE FUCK YOU ARE, WHY HAVE YOU LEFT ME OWING MY LIFE TO YOU WITH FOUR MORE DEATHS ON MY CONSCIENCE,' and it's great. Maybe I should write fanfiction of that.
