The Male Pregnancy Series Is Only A Matter Of Time.

Is anyone else watching Boy Meets Girl? It is an ITV four-part comedy drama, airing at nine o'clock on Fridays; two parts have been shown so far. I cannot believe I've seen nothing about it on my flist, because the basic premise is that a man and a woman are hit by lightning and swap bodies. They swap bodies, you guys. The actress is very ( Read more... )

ashes to ashes, merlin, avatar, final fantasy xii, being human, final fantasy, we all love hearing about dreams right?

Ianto and Gwen. I think this would be a fantastic and fantastically awful bodyswap.

YES. I was going to say 'would Jack know they had been swapped?', but I'm not sure his knowing would really make much of a difference.

Torchwood invites bodyswap. It demands it. I shall be terribly disappointed if it doesn't eventually have a bodyswap episode.

And if it does I REALLY FUCKING WANT it to be John and Jack, because you just KNOW the havoc they'd both wreck.

Isn't there an actual Torchwood book where Ianto wakes up as a woman? I swear this wasn't a dream I had. I keep quite wanting to find it and read it.

ALSO, I have been watching Boy Meets Girl! I was basically determined to stick with it until Martin Freeman kissed another man, but since I'm halfway through now, I will probably watch the other two episodes too (maybe he'll do it again).

I don't know why I hadn't heard of that show, but ITV player, here I come!

George and Mitchell should totally switch bodies, and I'd read it if you wrote it. Please?

I hope you enjoy it! I really was very amused to see all the things you'd expect from a male/female bodyswap in fanfiction happening there on the screen.

I don't know yet whether I'll be writing Being Human fanfiction, but I'll certainly consider it, because seeing George and Mitchell attempting to deal with each other's problems could be fascinating.

If I turned into Alex Drake, wild horses wouldn't drag me away from those boobs.

And nobody would be able to blame you. That's a rather hypnotic icon you have there.

I hadn't even heard of Boy Meets Girl!

I'm still holding out for a Supernatural bodyswap episode. YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO, KRIPKE.

Also, I'd quite like to see House swap bodies with either Wilson or Cuddy. He would wreak such havoc in either of their bodies.

Heroes could totally have some random bodyswapping going on, it's all about people having weird powers anyway.

It's only a matter of time before Legend of the Seeker does it, and when it does, I shall love it. The actors LOVE crackalicious stories, as was evidenced by the episode about thieves using magic to disguise themselves as Our Heroes.

I'm not sure HOW the people from Burn Notice would swap, but Michael and Fiona need to swap. He's an ex-spy who makes gadgets and helps people, she's a tiny woman who loves blowing shit up! Together, they fight crime! And now they have to do it as each other. I want to see Michael-as-Fiona try to flirt with a guy to get information SO MUCH.

While we are on the subject of bodyswap awesomeness, let me link you to clips of one of my favourite sitcoms doing a bodyswap episode!

Part one
Part two
Part three

All you need to know is that they're aliens posing as humans to investigate and research Earth :D

That sounds fantastic - I watched that American film It's a Boy Girl Thing that had roughly the same premise. I was convinced that it was going to end with them having dubiously gay, narcissistic sex. Alas, it didn't happen. Boo. The best part was the girl attempting to get rid of her erection by hitting it with a spoon.

The bodyswapped characters in Boy Meets Girl haven't actually met since the bodyswap, but I do hope there's narcissistic sexual tension when they find each other. Given everything so far, I wouldn't be surprised.

Hitting it with a spoon? That sounds rather painful.
