I am in London for the weekend, because I forgot an important and expensive textbook (and also crockery and cutlery and pots and pans and all things kitchen-related, but let us not talk about my incompetence. SOMETIMES I FORGET THAT I NEED TO EAT), and therefore: Internet! Hello! I have missed you all ( Read more... )

prison break, we all love hearing about dreams right?, strange notebook discoveries, top gear, weird pairings, send me things!, michael scofield is a real person, real life (there's a rarity)

This makes me want to take time off from fandom for a while, just for the weird dreams.

Perhaps everyone should try it for a while! Or perhaps not, because then there would be no fandom for a while and that would be a disaster.

I do miss fandom, but the bizarre dreams certainly help. I want more Top Gear presenters in Victorian London, brain! Let's have them meet Holmes and Watson next time.

I dream chunks of episodes. And the weirdest Buffy AU ever. Angel was an evil king who'd taken over Buffy's kingdom, and Buffy was the princess exiled to a tiny island that was always in sunlight. Giles was her royal advisor, who was keeping some sort of secret from her, but loved her and wanted to look after her. Xander was stuck there too (they ran out of food and he had to eat flowers instead), and Spike would come by to visit, but he had to ride in a special carriage with blacked-out windows and stay indoors. For some odd reason, dream-Spike was some sort of vampire minor nobility, named Hephastion (I don't even ship Spike/Xander). There were four witches at the four compass points (although no one had ever found the westernmost witch) with Tara as the North Witch running a court that was all sunlight, green fields, and gauzy white clothing. Willow had been one, but she'd had to leave because she was having problems. She wanted to be with Tara, but it wasn't safe for her to visit. I think Willow had been the South Witch, ( ... )
