Mice With Swords. You Can't Go Wrong.

I have just been to watch the Prince Caspian film! I hadn't actually read the book, so there was an exciting element of not-knowing-what-was-going-to-happen I haven't had with many fantasy book-to-film adaptations. (Why haven't I read the book? I liked the four Narnia books I read when I was younger; why didn't I read the rest of them? Honestly, ( Read more... )

I HAVEN'T SEEN IT YET, BUT I THINK I READ THE BOOK ONCE

and i swear the pevensies are in like EVERY OTHER NARNIA BOOK except, obvs, magician's nephew and the horse and his boy.

i liked ed much more after he got turned into a dragon. I SWEAR THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENED IN ONE BOOK AND I AM NOT JUST IMAGINING IT.

WE SHOULD WRITE SOME 'THE DESTINY ISLANDS KIDS ARE SIBLINGS' FIC. IT WOULD BE AWESOME. AND, AS WE ALL KNOW, INCEST IS MUCH MORE FUN THAN NORMAL SLASH. SORA/RIKU INCEST PLX?

I don't think there are any other books with all four Pevensies together, though. Alas!

I remember the turning-into-a-dragon! It was Eustace, wasn't it? APPARENTLY SLEEPING ON TOP OF DRAGON TREASURE WHILST HAVING GREEDY THOUGHTS TURNS ONE INTO A DRAGON. THIS SOUNDS LIKE HIGHLY FISHY SCIENCE TO ME.

I am weirdly tempted by the idea of writing Destiny Islands siblingfic. I have no idea what would actually happen in it, though. THE PLOT IS 'LOOK! THEY ARE SIBLINGS! ISN'T IT GREAT? OH DEAR PLEASE STOP KILLING ME 'SHIPPERS.'

except, obvs, magician's nephew and the horse and his boy.

They butt in on the Horse and His Boy too. They're visiting the emperor-guy in Tashbaan; emperor-guy's son tries to kill Edmund and kidnap Susan to marry her, because killing her brother will have somehow endeared him to her. Apparently anyone not Narnian is incapable of logic.

I was always a little sad about it, because it was the only glimpse we had of them being all royal and Narnian - which was totally awesome enough to merit its own book! - and it was just a sort of side note. Bah.

I will uh. Stop butting in to other people's comment threads now. :)

Actually - it's their (the Pevensies's) cousin Eustace Scrubb who got turned into a Dragon and improved as a person. In the Voyages of the Dawn Treader.
