Who Needs Gabriella When You've Got Robert Downey Junior?

On Sunday, I went to see a Simon Amstell stand-up show with th_esaurus, neobubble, meisalliam and, er, Victoria, who does not have a Livejournal and therefore must be referred to by her real name, pfft. We discussed potential Doctors and I got to hug people and it was marvellous. It has been far too long since I was last out with a group of fans! Where are all the meetups? (Amstell was great, too, but I did not get to hug him and therefore he is inferior to the people I did hug.)

I've spent the past few days in the company of th_esaurus (so for once my lack of comment-responses has not just been because I am rubbish!), and it has been pretty much amazing. We watched Pokémon and Digimon films, because we're cool like that, and I somehow now appear to be in possession of a Pokémon Chronicles DVD and a High School Musical baseball cap, because apparently I am the coolest. (I can never wear this cap in public. You can see me sporting it in this post if you must.) And I dragged her to see The Incredible Hulk. I have to say that the Hulk is not the winner in the Alter-Egos of Characters Played By Edward Norton category, but he is sort of adorable in a going-to-tear-your-legs-off way.

We also watched terrible, terrible YouTube videos together. You may have seen this video already if you watch th_esaurus' journal, but I am posting it again because it defies belief. It is the Pokémon theme played over the 'Bet On It' dance sequence from High School Musical 2, and the quality may be appalling but it is one of the greatest things I have ever seen in my life.

The Internet has given me such wonderful friendships. I love it, and I love you all.

film, rd is amazing, crossovers, my lj friends are real people apparently, pokémon, high school musical, video
