I hate the sound of my own voice most of the time, but here's what the internet thinks:

Your Result: The Midland

"You have a Midland accent" is just another way of saying "you don't have an accent." You probably are from the Midland (Pennsylvania, southern Ohio, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and Missouri) but then for all we know you could be from Florida or Charleston or one of those big southern cities like Atlanta or Dallas. You have a good voice for TV and radio.

So maybe years ago I got fed up with being an Oklahoman and tried to sound like a northerner (which is how Boston ranks second...) and although some success prevailed, I failed somewhat miserably at it and landed somewhere unfortunately in between. Maybe I just hate the sound of my own voice that I have to say things in a funny way to amuse myself in order to put up with it...

Anyway. Weird.
