Mmmmm. Kitchen Aids.
I've never in my life used a Kitchen Aid. I've been told how wonderful they are by many folks who actually take the baking/cooking thing more seriously than I.
My mother has a Kitchen Aid. It's probably about 10 years old. My mother usually creates dinner from a vast array of boxes and cans. She hasn't seen the shiny side of a measuring spoon for at least 20 years. I'm staying with her during Thanksgiving, and I decided to give the Kitchen Aid a whirl making my signature Thanksgiving dessert, Toll House Cookie Pie (you can start drooling now, folks who have savored this slice of heaven). And OMFG. Add ingredients slowly while, uuh, sliding the power lever up.
