I could use some help figuring out an agenda for a day-trip to Boston with
badlittlemonkey 's parents. They are fairly fit, yet we will also be visiting with my two kids (ages 4 and 2), so we need to find a good balance of things to do so that no one gets worn out or cranky.
I thought I'd ask all of you, since you know the city well. Or at least better than I. We will probably take the train in and use public transportation. They are both from the South, lovers of history, enchanted with maritime history in particular, and have an appreciation for quilting, antiques, and architecture.
What do you think? Suggestions for museums, restaurants, exhibits, historic sites, kid-friendly activities are very welcome and appreciated! Also.... the best way to get there! :)
