PRESSURE~!!!!
So, tomorrow, I've been invited to have lunch with the Chief Information Officer of the place I work at... and it's no biggie.. he does this monthly where he picks 3 random employees from the company to have lunch with and get to know, but talk about pressure. I'm the first from my department that has been invited, and I seriously am nervous about talking with him.
My managers have been teasing me that I should talk about our department being underfunded and it's all fun and all XD but I think they somehow expect that I should at least bring our budget up.
My worst fear is that they'll cut our budget after lunch with me. LOL
Anyway. I just hope he likes hockey and TV because those two things are stuff I can definitely do small talk in. Other things? Not so much. There are two other employees coming along lunch with us, so I hope I won't have to carry the weight of the conversation.
So really. WHAT DO I TALK WITH HIM ABOUT???
*le sigh*
Other than that. I've mostly been busy with work, watching TONS of TV, hockey, and hot-potting with friends.
I'm also planning a trip to Toronto to visit some childhood friends and for the Glee tour (with mah twintwin neonbliss) in June, then my brother and I will be going to Las Vegas and San Diego Comic Con in July. So excited!!!!!!! Those trips are really the first time I'll be traveling on vacation on my own... I've gone on trips alone before, but they're either for some program my high school or college has sent me to, or some trip with my church... so not really a trip that I've planned on my own. So scary.
Anyway. As for TV. I'm now on NCIS season 7. After that, I'll catch up to Criminal Minds again, then my coworker lent me The IT Crowd.
With that, I leave you with Kesler trolling Schneider. LOL
