(no subject)
Tommy went to his Marine Corp Ball and looked very nice doing so. :) I only got a few of him here
We have a nice (as in medium-sized) list of things the house needs before our parents come visit. So we decided to tackle one of the items: a sheet set for an air bed( for tommy's parents). We went to Macy's and picked something up that would last and was comfortable. Only went to Macy's so I could use my Macy's card which was gathering dust. But as soon as I go online I go on amazon and see that they decided to have a HUGE linen sale!! I was so bummed as I JUST bought a set for quite a bit of money, and here I was seeing sets on Amazon for less than half of what I paid, and they were Egyptian cotton with 400+ thread counts, no less! Tommy and I stared at those cheap quality linens all day wondering what we should do (couldn't return ones I bought since I washed them the second I stepped into the house).
Oh well, we thought. That night Ethan decided he was going to throw a temper tantrum as usual, and surprised us all when he went into the other room and fell asleep in his own bed!! =O
Of course we were happy, as this is a great milestone, but we felt so lonely without him in the room with us! I couldn't sleep all night anyway so at 3 am I woke up, went online and bought the Egyptian cotton sheet set =X Tommy didn't mind at all, and said it was a great bargain (40 dollars for a queen set!). We'll use the set for ourselves when we start sleeping in the baby's room.
Just finished cleaning, and now to find our lost remote control so I can actually change the channels on this stupid tv!
