I am sick as a dog in a rainstorm without a mac.
Yesterday I had the highest fever I've had in, oh, years I suppose. Today it's down but still hard to do anything really. I picked my kid up from the daycare and afterwards had to lie down for an hour to recuperate enough to write this.
The thing that really bothers me with this sort of illness is that it's near impossible to entertain oneself. Yesterday it took too much strength to effing watch tv most of the time, so I was on audio only. Now this wouldn't be too bad if I slept most of the time, but nooo, I was wide awake and bored stiff. No internet, nothing on tv, and actually doing something way too taxing.
Why can't my brain shut down when the rest of my body does?
Guh, back to the couch then.
