Weird. One would think recurring depression, anxiety attacks and ADD would be enough trouble for one person, but oh no. Today I managed to wrestle down a migraine attack (thank god for effective drugs) only to get stumped with... What the hell was that about anyway- thingy. See I was in my Swedish course (goddamn obligatory language) and the teacher asked us all what we want to be after this edumacation thingamajiggy. She asked me and I said I wanted to be a writer, she asked couple more questions on that etc. And I started to shake. Or more accurately, my hands did. Verily.
So these hands... they vibrate?!
In colloquial Finnish we'd call this "coffee cup neurosis". WTFever.
Anyone here with social skillz or clairvoyance? I have a question. There's this professor (OMGLewisBlackLookalikeOMG) and I've taken an interest in his... subject (haha) so have met him around quite a lot the last year or so. But I didn't see him around much until last month, when suddenly our paths (literally) crossed twice in a week. Now what I want to know is: Why the hell did he look surprised to see me, in the campus area where I study (and he knows this too)?
I'm betting that was just another cosmic quirk, because soon after I ran into some problems acquiring the necessary literature for one of his exams, went to see him and bam! He lent me his extra copy of said book!!! After making me swear cross-my-heart-and-hope-to-die to return it, that is. And he took my phone number in case I don't so he can "call the cops" on me. Yeah, a laugh and a half.
I did manage to embarrass myself a little there, though. His office was HOT. As soon as I sat down I was burning up, and just blurted out "Is it always this hot in here?" and proceeded to take off my cardigan. I swear I was probably red as a beet for the next half an hour after that! Of course, the next day I noticed I was actually sick, so that might've explained some of that HOT&SWEATY-ness. Oi.
