Wil Wheaton keeps me up at night

Ok so it's been a really long time since I made an entry. Not alot has really happened. Still living in the same house(thank goddess!), kids are growing and are healthy. Learning things all the time. It's amazing how much they can learn in just a short amount of time. Down side is they are learning new things all the time! Like how to get in to new things. Or how to lie. Oh thats the big one there. And starting to get concepts, like death. A few weeks ago my friend Vanessa took Rinoa and I to the park to feed the birds. It was going alright until this horrible child and his father were picking on the birds. The kid was kicking birds in to the pond. We look at the birds and a pigeon fell in to the water and was drowning. Vanessa went to get help and by the time they got back he had given up. Rinoa was watching this whole thing asking me if the bird was going to be ok. We got the bird out, and he was a mess. His neck was all floppy and he couldnt move. We didnt think he was going to make it. So we put him under a tree so no one would bother him. And once the lady that worked there had gone back to the office, another bird fell in the water. I ran back and got the broom that was used the first time. We got the second bird out and he was ok. We were walking back to the car and we took another look at the first bird. He was still alive so I decided to take him home. We thought that if he was going to die that he should at least die warm. So I got him home and put him in my bathroom. Went to the store and got him some seeds. Just in case. Also I had read on the internet a way to keep a bird warm with an old sock and some rice. No the bird didnt eat any of it. The next morning I went in and he was alive! And he was walking around and he was alive! His head was a little like a bobble head but he was ok. A few days later we tried to put him back at the park. But it turned out he couldnt fly any more. So the day after that we took him to the local bird sanctuary. After that, for a while Rinoa was asking if the bird was dead. I kept telling her no he went to live with other birds. And she says ok. I was glad that I could what I did to keep her from her first experience with death. Bonus, we saved a couple of birds.

On another note about animals and death, I was playing Resident Evil 4 with family and Rinoa was sitting right next to me. Now zombies DO NOT bother her at all. She's all "get them mommy!" But in this one there were some cows. It's fun to shoot the cows. Rinoa did not agree. She told me "No kill cows mommy" So me being the uber bitch that I am, I wanted to test her attachment to the cows. And I made my little girl cry. I felt so bad after! I calmed her down and promised I wouldnt kill any more cows. And I didnt. Funny side note, she got mad at me for shooting the cows, but she was all for the death of the chickens. Go figure.

Jaime and I are trying to get healthy. That means we replaced all the food in the house with food that is not of the junk variety. But it's all still tasty. And we got EA Sports Active. We did a work out today. Wow I'm in soo much pain. But it was fun! And we are also taking Slim Quick. So I'm hoping this all goes well.

And now I'm going to go to bed. I'm hoping I can actually sleep. I really want to stay up and listen to this podcast because I love Wil Wheaton. But I really should sleep. Tomorrow is Nessa's birthday and we are taking her to dinner. So I am outta here!

P.S. I am loving this podcast! It's basicly him just rambling but it's like hanging out with a friend and listening them to tell stories...with alot of going off track. I love it. And he talks about alot of interesting things too. And his blog kicks ass. Fan girl much?
