moving. wha wha whaaaah.
SO yeah, moving went sort of well.
I finally got everything out of the old apartment last night.
I had to leave almost all of my furniture..which really sucks, but oh well.
There has been a lot of stress in trying to move and trying to get situated and still try and find a way to make moneys..
Jared's mom was kind enough to let me work for her as a sub at her church for 8 dollars an hour today and Thursday.
And, finally, the Kohl's in Fayetteville called and offered me hours for tomorrow and probably the rest of the week.
So things are finally starting to fall into place. :D YAY!
Jared and I saw three movies last night.
Beowulf, Enchanted, and The Mist.
Beowulf was great, really wonderful. It seemed a little short though. And, I have a hard time enjoying or taking seriously CGI anymore. It's just everywhere..
But, I did like the Dragon..and by using all CGI throughout the movie the Dragon didnt seem so lame and computerly drawn as opposed to how it would have looked with real actors.
Enchanted was really funny. It's the new Disney movie that kind of makes fun at all the classic fairy tales. Which was kind of nice, we snuck in so..yeah.
I really liked it, but I am a sucker for Disney classics and seeing the real take and poking fun at them was really fun for me. Susan Sarandon is awesome.
This Mist was by far the most amazing thing I have seen this year. And, I know I say this about every movie, but this was truly the scariest movie I have seen all year, and the most intense. It's based on the Stephen King Novella. So I was pretty nervous about it..But I was completely on edge..And the character/audience relationship became really strong throughout the movie..You kind of really wanted some of the people to make it and some other people to die, and the things that happened and the way the characters started to react to things and situations was very painful to watch for me. It was somewhat disturbing to see some people die..and was fairly realistic to how it would be if such things could happen..most recommended movie of the year..I had a nightmare of it last night..:S
