(no subject)
So after convincing one friend to buy the Cricket corset and the other to commission a blue dupioni jessamine, and commissioning Scoundrelle to make my own "Blood" (as she calls it) dupioni josephine. I have two things to say.
Scoundrelle, you should love me because I give you business and I love you because well, you're made of epic corsetry win.
Also my friends and I are planning on doing steampunk Power puff girls now for CVG 2010.
Sherry will be Buttercup (With the cricket)
Lauren will be Bubbles (Blue Jessamine)
And I'll be Blossom!
This amuses me to no end because the corsets themselves seem to fit the characters perfectly there are buckles on the Cricket which is the bad-ass touch that Buttercup needs. The Sweetheart neckline that the oh-so sweet Bubbles and the Clean, straight lines of the no non-sense, intelligent Blossom.
So I'm excited now I just need to figure out what kinds of skirts we'll need. I want to continue with the personalities of each character.
