prep week is officially over
I couldn't of asked for a better first week back to work. I actually am pretty prepared and ready to roll for the first week with the kiddies. I had a ton of stuff to do this week, including moving all my furniture back in the room, because of the massive construction that happened this summer. But we have AC now, and it is ssooo nice not to be sweltering in the building anymore!
So first week back has been pretty tiring, so nothing major and exciting this week. Oh, I did stop by the italian store in town today to pick up a few things, and the owner gave me all this free stuff! He gave me 2 free biscottis, a free baguette, and an extra meatball with my dinner platter I got. SWEET! I think he was just so happy I came back again.
Larissa scored us discount Spam-a-lot tickets on March 18th which I am psyched about!!! I was planning on getting tickets anyway, but she knew someone who could get us orchestra seats with a good discount. Woohoo! Plus, we got to get our tickets before the general public. Go Ris!
I may be going to a bluegrass festival tomorrow with some friends. I mean, I am not a huge huge bluegrass fan, but it is in Gettysburg about 25-30 minutes away, and they are all driving up through Westminster to get there, and offered to pick me up. Hey, why not?
But I may opt to just putz around and relax. Plus I want to head out and get a few work clothes for the upcoming weeks. Hhmm...decisions decisions....
