Thank you to @tiiqqu for the Finnish transcript! She's awesome!

*On the street*

S: It's howdy!
K: Hi! Listen we are now outside the American Idol studio, CBS stuidios.
S: Yeah on our way to see American Idols
K: Just that, think Idol
S: Idol
K: ...Geesh I always say Idols...why do I always say...?
S: Well maybe because in Finland we say Idols
K: Yes little we do
S: And we're making this in Finnish
K: In Finnish
S: We can say that Idols, darn.
K: Definitely!
S: We've dressed like this in black now.
K: Just think, in the middle of the day, it's 25 (C) degrees and we had to wear black! It said so in the invitation, we have this VIP-invitation. And everyone else, must wear black. Can't wear white.
S: Yes, I don't understand this!
K: Me neither!
S: I have this nice white shirt I wanted to wear, because I'm always anyway wearing these black clothes, and no! So today we are dressed in black again.
K: I'm always complaining at Sauli that "Don't always be in black! Try to put some white even a bit!" And now we had to...me also, and I never wear black!
S: Well you have some flowers...a bit of summer.
K: Well there's some flowers yes
S: A bit rock
K: Rock rock!
K: Well yes. Here we are beside the Beverly Boulevard. There's school busses driving by and busses to downtown, it says so there.
S: Awfully busy.
K: Awfully noisy yes.
S: Just now we had proof what we're doing. We had to show our passports and everything, lucky we had those with us.
K: Yes, lucky we had those!
S: Otherwise, we would have been out of here.
K: I thought at that moment, that what can they say when they ask what medium? So like "Finnish media", "What?" "Finnish media". They probably don't even know what Finnish is! For real. They don't always know where Finland is. It's a bit weird. We will make it clear to everyone from now on.
S: Yes most definitely! We've already taught the Americans these basic Finnish word like Kippis! (Cheers!)
K: That's something everyone know already! I'm constantly like kipp...well not all the time...well so, anyway...This is so much cooler to get to see here the American Idols. I've watched it...we watched the studio audience just last week...
K: The hall is so big and like...
S: Yes, and so amazing!
K: It doesn't look like that from here
S: You can compare because you've to Finnish Idols, in the studio to see I mean. I've never been.
K: Yes, I have to take you with me next time
S: Yes
K: You can compare then
S: I'm not that interested in that, much nicer to get to see this American Idols
K: Totally! Totally.
S: There's much more talented singers
K: Well for goodness sake, like extrememly more talented. I'm all like...we listened them last week..."This is not real, these are so good!" I'd choose them all! Or like...
S: Huh huh
K: But now we have a little problem. We can't take you guys with us inside! This is so silly!
S: We can't film inside. We promise to bring the feelings and atmosphere here outside
K: For real
S: What happens inside
K: We are so bummed! Because we're not going in here just to have it for ourselves, but because we wanted to show you guys what it's like. But we'll see, we try to smugle..
S: We try...
K: ...camera
S: We try to smugle a camera in a show or a sock, a little cell phone camera
K: We're not allow to take there any cell phones with camera, not even cell phones.
S: We'll take something there!
K: Something, we'll figure something out!
S: We must go now
K: Yes, we have to go now...Hey, but see you soon, bye!
S: Yes

*Katri interview Jacob's and Stefano's fans*
K: Hey now we found some fans here!

*At the hotel room*

K: Uuuuuuu!
S: You're screaming again!
K: Well hey, now we have to!
S: Didn't you scream enough when we were just...
K: Well you know, for real!
S: ...there
K: We just came from there! This is so unbelievable! Because well, it was shot at New York time so 5 o'clock the shooting started, they were done at half past six. And now we're here at our hotel room and it's on TV!
S: And we were here!
K: 8 o'clock this started. And here - look! JLo!
S: There we were, top corner! There we were.
K: There we were, at Randy Jackson's...like we were diagonally...we show you where we were.
S: Just 10 metres to JLo, so close we got!
K: So close! We were all like....yayyyyyy! But for real like, the first feeling...
S: Yes
K: When we walked inside...we were all like
S: We thought it's like this huge place. But, a bit dissappointed. It was soooo small.
K: It was soooo small! It's like this hotel room for real!
S: Well no exactly, but let's say there's no more than 700 seats, 600-700 seats.
K: Yes we tried to count a bit.
S: Yes
K: Yes, really there's no room. Like in Finnish Idol, when it's been at the Opera House sometime, there's so much more seats for people. It's looked huge, amazing, wonderful! Then I talked to the people next to me, and they were all like "Wow does Finland have something like that, nothing like us have here! Well you must really get into it!" But anyway about the atmosphere!
S: Yes. Must still say about this, that they've done some miracles to see that place look so huge on TV!
K: Yes, how ever they showed it, must've used some sort of wide ankle thing.
S: That stage looks so big, because it really isn't that big!
K: No it totally isn't! But so, now hey, we really have to...
S: Now we're doing that comparison...
K: Comparison
S: To the Finnish Idols...so I got chills from every performer when I watched them!
K: It was something so unbelievably amazing! For real I...we danced, we sung along. Everyone in the audience stands all the time...
S: There was yelling and clapping all the time. During every commercial break there was this kind of entertainment and dancing, a show.
K: ...show. This guy came out...he looked like Ryan Seacrest and he...
S: Ryan Seacrest
K: ...and he came and handed T-shirts. Every fans shirts, I mean every singers shirts were up for grabs and oh, I actually bough one because I didn't get one! I tried to be all give me on!
S: So embarrassing, so embarrassing to me!
K: Oh come on, come on! I'm going to wear this tomorrow on the town! Sauli was...
S: I told Katri that what you...that shirt is so lame!
K: I wanted to show you guys what kind they sell.
S: Oh my that's great, it's great.
K: It says season 10 there
S: I've never seen a shirt this great!
S: And it cost so much!
K: Yes it did! 27 dollars, for goodness sake!
S: Oh my God!

K: But for real, so listen! We had such good seats! We saw every performance right behind the judges. So amazing!
S: Now there he cries now
K: Oh yes, this was...but we'll talk about these for in a minute. There he cries, that that James. But so yes, now we have to, now first of all, all that isn't shown on TV. Yes, so hilarious...I'm saying for real that this is too much...
S: So that, when the commercial break started the stage was like an ants' nest, like an ant swarm had shown up. Like 20 people
K: ...just to pick up something from the stage if there was any...yes
S: A few extras. But what about JLo's hair...
K: That was something! So JLo's hair was fixed like every 5 minutes. Every time there was a commercial break, like like always! Like this...show a bit....yes...
S: And then at States it's like 10 commercial breaks in an hour and every commercial break!
K: Like all the time!
S: She had two make up artists
K: Two!
S: Who fixed her make up every commercial break
K: And a hair stylist
S: Two hair stylists. So four people were on her every commercial break.
K: For real there was like 10 people around the judges table, at least. All the time there was so much happening at that stage. Half a minute and the stage was empty again and the next equipment for the next act was all there. It's nothing like that in Finland.
S: No. We tried to shout a bit when they helped JLo like "Hi Jenni!" and waved.
K: I...
S: Jenni waved there
K: Yeah yeah, she waved! She waved at us! Then I shouted! And then to my favourite Lauren I shouted "Good Lauren!"
S: Good Lauren!
K: My voice is probably on the tape because it was so few people and I screamed there all the time.
S: For sure
K: You can't do that at press boxes, when you sit in those in Finland. Now we had VIP-seats.
S: They were strict, they took our cell phones away form us!
K: Yes, couldn't get those
S: We tried to smugle them, but couldn't get them with us.
K: Yes now, it sucked. But it's alright, we realized that it comes from TV so we show it here and now look what's happening there.
S: Then so because we have the feelings here, what size the place is and we saw what happened on the breaks...so it was an interesting show.
K: It was so interesting! And now for real I can say...I've sat on the Finnish Idols' audience for 4-5 years. I've gotten chills every year maybe once or twice - now I got those from each and every singer! I'm still feeling it! It was so...we were there...
S: It was so unbelievable!
K: And in Finland no-one ever dance or stand up or anything like that, no way! There they shout to the judges all the time from the audience, someone is "I love you JLo, Jennifer!
S: So amazing, because the audience is rooting for everyone. Every performer got like the whole audience to stand up and clap and shout and so. The performer must have amazing time while performing there.
K: Exactly, totally! And then...okay, even though the place is so small, for real totally! We can't emphasize that enough, but anyway, those video screens are amazing when the lights change all the time to unbelievable
S: Yes
K: The whole atmosphere
S: The effects are great. It's so wonderful.
K: Yeah yeah, it's full of that videoscreen the whole stage. So even though it's small, it's build to look so cool. But they can in Finland too, must say now. But hey the talent of these singers...For real, when we left from Finland and we watched our Idol...there's been said that this is the best season in Finland...
S: Yes
K: No God!
S: We've been like, waiting for someone to mess up bad. But no-one made mistakes, everyone were perfect. Because in Finnish Idol, it's silly to say, but you kind of know that someone makes a mistake and like is pitch prob...problems...
K: Exactly
S: Problems
K: Probles...yes pitch problems. It's true.
S: But my absolute favourite today was, I liked Haley a lot and she's like my...I said from the beginning that she's my favourite.
K: She is soooo good!
S: But so rock! But let's say now, in my opinion these girls now kind of rock...so Pia, Laura...what Lauren?
K: Lauren
S: and then Haley. Those were the three that for real...
K: They are like so good! There's only three of them, there's six guys.
S: Now all for girls!

K: Exactly. I just want to say that, when they told us that we must wear black. So there we sat...in the studio in the audience...Look, in front of us sat this guys in white shirt and..
S: He sat yes...
K: T-shirt he wore! We were like "This isn't real!"
S: They just said not to wear white!
K: No white!
S: There was this old man that had white hair, I thought that how come he hadn't deyed it. Well if you couldn't have anything white, it shined there in that UV light that hair.
K: Like out of this world. Then you know, those tickets! We got to talk about those. It's so difficult to get the tickets. Just think now if there's hunred billion people in this country...billions...well what's that hundreds billions!
S: There's no use for us to speak to you about geography
K: No but, come on, I've been good at geography at school...well but, so anyway, there's like really...look just when that music plays I'm back in the mood more. So so , so for real, then there's room for 700, so think how few gets there in the end. It's like for real, we hear that people are going to the ticket counter real early in the morning
S: Yes, if you want a ticket
K: ...if you want to get a ticket. Like so early. But usually they are friend of a friend or
S: Friend of a friend, cousins, relatives plus then Sauli and Katri!
K: Yes yes, just right! I heard that Steven Tyler had a lot of friends there.
S: Yeah it was Steven's friend, that actor who sat in front of us.
K: Yes yes, there was that...Christian Slater. Yesah he was there! But so hey, Steven shouted...I know who is his favourite, he shouted it to those friends of his...Casey! I don't much about Casey
S: Casey?
K: The curly haired. So that, about him he shouted something like "He's very good!" to his friends. So this is the inside scoop like.
S: He just shared abit.
K: They praised everyone tonight, they didn't say much more to anyone. But hey, shall we go a bit...Wait let me see if there was something else...Oh yeah! It was so funny that people had like sun glasses on their collar and they couldn't wear those in the audience because they shone!
S: Oh my goodness.
K: There were security guys telling people all the time what to have and what not to have.
S: They don't even shoot the audience that much, but the stage. What difference if someone wants a bit of...
K: And Ryan Seacrest, I have to say something. He used prompters a lot.

(Uncertain about the rest)

S: Yes
K: I don't know yes. But yes now about these...
S: THen there's this. This was the only one I wasn't...the only one...this is like....what this...country
K: Country spirit
S: Country spirit yes. The whole audience was like crazy when he sang!
K: Completely crazy!
S: Everyone was standing and partying and Katri and I were like "I'm too tired to stand again". I'm just not that into country. We Finns, we probably don't understand the country music. But howcome...it's not that...does that kind of country sell...I guess it sells here...
K: This the American thing! You know this is huge in the States. We were like "Nooo".
S: This was the tamest of these.
K: I agree
S: Even when we told we got chills from everyone...he did good too but anyway
K: Yes, this was the only one we kind of didn't
S: Now and we didn't like this much
K: Right. But I got the most chills was the first song - which I couldn't believe. We talked before hand "We don't like Jacob"
S: That much, but so
K: The he started with Michael JAckson and we were like "Oh my goodness!" Sauli was trying to talk to me and I was mostly like "Don't disturb me, don't disturb me!"
S: Yes but he was amazing. There was on backup vocals that Naima who left then (They corrected this on Katri's blog comments that it was really Siedah Garrett who co-wrote the song)
K: He was so good! Look the judges are jamming. It was this kind of jamming moment. And then...
S: Help!
K: Okay, now the tape was cut and everything...
S: I had something in my eye.
K: We talked about so much again...Hey, there's Christian Slater!
S: There!
K: There yes! We saw him too!
S: We almost touched his hair!
K: Almost
S: From the back row
K: So anyway, hey, but lastly: Great show, like unbelievable!
S: Unbelievable
K: So...
S: Unbelievable!
K: Unbelievable. We hope everyone will watch this season to the end at Sub, because we can comment how this ends. And then we can send like the last moment greetings. And hey, we have to say about the judges...so that Jennifer Lopez...
S: She was pretty as a baseball cap.
K: Like so...
S: Lovely, voluptuous and like so beautiful!
K: Like exactly! But really voluptuous! Like for real more voluptuous than I imagined. Especially from this part...listen, she was so...was really so. But she's so cool.

(Didn't quite get this part)

S: But there's the security guards, but I don't know.
K: But yes...
S: They all seemed so nice when they waved and chatted with fans and so.
K: Yes. And everyone there, Ryan included, they were all together and chatted among themselves a lot and playfully joked on breaks and all. The atmocphere was really great all around. Nothing too serious. It was just a shame that we couldn't take any pictures, but that's what it is...
S: Yes, but all and all, amazing experience
K: Yes! Amazing
S: Just amazingg. And now this, we will be here to follow through this American Idols to the end
K: Just right, you follow too
S: You follow on from Sub. This is a good place to stop. This is our favourite.
K: Piaaaa
S: Pia!
K: Piia in Finnish.
S: Our Piia is there now.
K: Look there
S: She's so pretty, oh my.
K: She's so pretty
S: Let's end here!
K: This is where we end!
S: To Pia yes!
K: Bye bye!
S: Bye bye!
K: Good luck to Pia too!
S: Good luck to everyone, bye bye!
