Can you imagine anyone else aside from Tobey Maguire playing wall-crawling superhero Spider-Man? Series director Sam Raimi can’t, nor can Spidey’s creator, Stan Lee!
“Tobey IS Peter Parker [Spider-Man’s human alias],” the 87-year-old Marvel Comics creator told HollywoodLife.com exclusively at Activision’s E-3 concert at the Staples Center in LA June 14.
He added, “I love him and what he did for Spider-Man.”
Sam Raimi has echoed similar thoughts to us previously, saying, “I’m such a fan of Tobey’s. It’s hard for me to ever imagine anyone else in that role.”
