Gordon went to Chicago on Thursday for Lollapolooza and I had such a fun weekend by myself!
Thursday I took Gordon to the airport then came home then went out for lunch with my Nana then came home then went to work for two hours and then came home and did a puzzle and watched movies and it was good times.
Friday I slept in a little and then worked 1-9 and closed the store by myself and felt like such a grown up.
Saturday I got up and did laundry, did the dishes, went to Ikea and bought a
Sultan Tuvebo mattress pad and came home and ironed my sheets and made such a comfy pretty bed and watched Dan In Real Life (which was good-ish) and Wimbleton (which was good-ish) and slept in my comfy bed and woke up without hurting which never happens. Yay Ikea mattress pad.
Sunday I went to work and opened the store by myself and closed the store by myself and it was awesome. The owners and the manager were away so I had to be RESPONSIBLE. I left the store feeling so "independent woman"-y that I took myself to the movies. I went to see
American Teen at the new AMC at Yonge and Dundas which is kind of amazing. The movie was really good (to me, who loves Laguna Beach and that kind of thing, others may not be as interested in highschool lives) and the theatre I was in is on the sixth floor of the building. All the AMC theatres are on the 5th and 6th floors, which is kind of weird but I LIKED IT. I woke up this morning and thought I might have dreamed the many many escalators but they were real.
Then today I went out for lunch and grocery shopping with my dad and now I'm waiting for Gordon to come home but I don't even know when his flight gets in. Sigh. I missed him even though I had fun.
