things are definitely on the up and up. let's bullet point the goodness:
*I have a new high-profile, fabulous job in the financial district in downtown San Francisco working on the 36th floor of one of the high-rises where I have a beautiful view of the Golden Gate Bridge, the T.A. Building, and, of course, the big blue. Not only is the pay unheard of for a recent (N.A.U. especially) graduate, but it's actually fun and I get my own desk. Working in the city has a way of making you feel ~important~.
*Construction has started on our new place which means, depending on how wet the rainy season is, we should be moving out in January. The end is definitely in sight and I'm already looking at paint samples. I'm thinking of a Mediterranean theme for the living room, with lots of rich purples and golds. We'll see. Maybe I'll even put my previous interior design class knowledge to work and create a sample board.
*We are finally meeting people and establishing our own social lives. We actually went out every night this past weekend which is a first. It's kinda fun planting some roots. I still feel like making new friends seems so much like dating. It's so awkward. I miss college days where you live in the resident hall and have no choice but to make friends. Aww, Cowden. ~tear~ Those were the days.
*Oh yeah! And I am living in a state again that follows daylight savings time! Happy extra hour of sleep to me today!
