Vid game vidspam!
For Halloween trick-or-treating, anglepoiselamp gave me: "How about posting a picspam about all your favourite videogame critters? By which I mean anything non-human, I guess." About ten minutes into my list-making, I realized how difficult it was to find good pictures of some of these guys, so instead I hit up youtube for some fun footage. Hope a vidspam will suffice.
And now, my top fourteen (mostly one monster from any given game series, but I did break that rule a few times):
14) Prinny from Disgaea and his own games - his section is at the end of the video
13) Kemaro from Legend of Legaia
12) Mira from Silent Hill 2 (and a few others)
11) Chaos from the Sonic games
10) Jeane from No More Heroes 1 and 2
9) Elum from the Oddworld games
8) Jigglypuff from Pokemon (with Meowth as a close second)
7) The familiars from Castlevania, but mostly the bat
6) Jack Frost from Megaten and Atlus in general
5) The Love Lizards from Rhythm Heaven
4) Every critter from Mario Bros, especially chain chomps
3) Kirby and everything else in his ridiculously adorable world
2) The usual suspects from the Final Fantasy series plus Pupu and Angelo - Warning: the third video contains spoilers for FFXIII! It's also full of baby chocobo cuteness, so I wanted to include it, but it is story spoilery. Skip it if you're sensitive to that sort of thing.
And 1) Slimes from Dragon Quest! Okay, drakees are pretty freaking awesome as well, but... but... slimes!
