Fanart dump deux!
Hiding at home, feeling a bit asthmatic from a nearby controlled burn and trying to not think about how much work I need to do before tomorrow... it's not that bad, really. Jaime's a good caretaker, and if I end up still feeling crappy tomorrow, hey! Work extension kinda! Uh. Yeah. Anyway, I figured since I couldn't do much that might mess with my lungs today, I'd do an art meme, and then while I was scanning that, I discovered a bunch of stuff I forgot to post... until now.
Oh hey, as a side note - anyone interested in coloring some line art? I did a not-obscene-but-suggestive Joshua/Neku doodle for the TWEWY kink meme that I never got around to coloring, and it's kind of pointless to post now, as it doesn't technically fulfill the kink without the necessary palette. I'd still like to get it out there, though. Any takers?

This comic is 100% true. I love Rise and all, but hands off. Souji's taken.
If you stand in front of the fridge and press 'x', doesn't it look and sound just like the door was stopped by his shins? Face is funnier, though.
Believe it or not, this was a Jaime request. He may have had to listen to "My Thoughts About Yaoi" a few too many times.

I sketched this out about half an hour after I bought Joshua his frilly parasol and thus decided he might be awesome. Couldn't be assed to ink it (continuing my game was far more appealing), but there it is.
Continuing theme in my TWEWY drawings: Joshua is equal parts badass and flaming.
And he likes Neku. A lot. Neku is less pleased with the situation.
Except when he's not. Oh ho ho. Okay, so maybe it could never happen in-game. That's what cracky fanart comics are for, yeah?
Some stuff I started for a TWEWY art meme. I gave up inking after Joshua's hand pissed me off - look at it! Fucking demon-possessed! - but Neku with fox ears was too amusing to not share.
Jaime's mom has this mix CD she plays over and over and over again MAKE IT STOP in the car that includes "Kiss Me" by Sixpence None the Richer. I heard this line while fiddling with Mingle Mode one day, and by god, it had to be drawn. Lighten up, Neku. Those pumps make your calves look killer.

Does anyone remember the whole "Sarah Palin hunts moose from helicopters" thing? Well, Jaime and I decided the only thing more radical to the max than that is the flipside - hunting helicopters from moose. This, of course, means we are the coolest people you know. Congrats.
And the doodles I did today - the Polyvore meme!
1. Go to Baby Names World (note: the original version of this I found listed Behind the Name, but most of my searches there yielded no results) and search for the name of a character.
2. Take the meaning of the character's name and search for it on Polyvore: Sets.
3. Draw the character in the second set of clothing that comes up.
First up, Souji and Yosuke!
Poor Yosuke. Poor, poor Yosuke. For his part, Souji is completely unfazed.
I figured it was slightly cruel to leave them like that, though, so I also came up with more masculine versions of their outfits and let them wear those. Very stylish, boys! You're growing up into true hipster douchebags.
Next is Soma, whose name meaning ("Nectar of Immortality") gave me nothing, so I searched for both nectar and immortality and dressed Mina and him in the results.
Well, the results and a modified men's version of the results. I just couldn't do that to Soma. I like to think they're out for a walk on a summer night and she's marveling at the stars while he's marveling at her.
... I think I need to replay Aria of Sorrow now.
Anyway, finally, we have Jaime and me...
This was so much fun to draw. I can't even tell you. This version includes a nice selection of things from my image and men's versions of things from Jaime's image. Of course, doing only a "nice" set wouldn't be fair, would it?
