Oh Spring Break...
I've had so much funthis week, I'm sad it's almost over.
I went to the park Wednesday and played some frisbee, which turned bad. Kris kept making fun of my frisbee skills, or lack thereof. Lorrie and Cory came out too, and we played hide and seek for a while. After much running and chasing and argueing, we decided to quit, and Lorrie severely injured herself. Word to the wise, never attempt a cartwheel on a log-bridge spanning across a creek..it will result in certain death, or at least a masive scrape on your leg.
Yesterday Kris, Cory, Lorrie, and I went to the zoo. Oh man, it was so fun! Lorrie slept over Wednesday night so we could get up early and make breakfast. We made Mickey Mouse pancakes and chocolate milk, yummy! The zoo was a good time. Most of the animals were sleeping, actually, almost all of them were. The lions, tiger, bears (oh my!), monkeys, and even the kangaroos were slumbering. We went into the polar bear exhibit, which is sweet by the way, and waiting for a good twnety minutes to see a polar bear swim over the glass tunnel. Yeah, it didnt. I was really disappointed. The seals were in the water though, so we got to see them swim by. It wasn't as cool as the bears are though. The bears paws are massive and are bigger than your head when they swim by. Yes, I've been to th zoo and watched the polar bears before...Anyways, Lorrie dragged us into the butterfly house, which has birds in it. Eek, have I ever mentioned how much I HATE birds? Well, I do, but the butterflies were pretty. We saw this really sweet penguin hopp around in the penguin house, and Lorrie and I did the penguin dance. The boys thought we were weird, but what else is new? Lorrie and I also played flamingo with the flamingos, and won! Oh yeah, they were not on their game yesterday. We stopped at Applebee's on the way home, and amazingly did not manage to get kicked out although I'm pretty sure our waitress quit life after we left.
Today Lara and I went to see Take the Lead. It was ok, but I do not recommend it. It's really long and very similar to Save the Last Dance in many ways. Just a little FYI in case you were thinking abuot seeing it, which I doubt.
Work was a lot of fun already this weekend. The regulars were all in the bar tonight for a while. I was harassed severely by a very drunk and depressed Billy. I didn't realize he was compltely trashed at first, then he asked me if I was legal yet, and I realized he was drunk. Andera, I know you know what I'm talking abuot here, and if he or any of their friends ever ask, I don't turn 18 anytime soon.
I still have homework to do. Gross. The chances of me actually doing it are quite small though. Can't say I'm motivated enough to even attempt it.
I'm free tomorrow all day, i just work at 5:30, so if you want to hang out, you know the number.
