EPIC MANSEX!! FWOOOOAHHH!!! XD
I was thinking a while back when I realised... man... I haven't actually shared my yaoi obsession enough (would this be considered an understatement?) xD
Before i start ranting, I'll give an overview of my obsession for yaoi.
NOTE:- Prolly alot of grammatical mistakes in this entry. It's currently 2 am in the morning, I was working for 7 hours tonight, I'm dead tired so don't get pedantic on me >___< I realised this when I wrote an 'a' instead an 'an' before overview... BAH! I'm too tired to care now @.<
I was first found out about it around the end of Year 10, which was 2006. I stumbled upon it when I was interested in reading fanfics. At first, I was like WTF?! What is this?! The only kind of interaction towards homosexuality that I have seen, was vaguely on channel SBS when QAF was on @ 9:30pm (Queer as Folk). At the time, I didn't even watch it, but I recognised it when I did watch it in 2007 during Year 11. Anyways, I was pretty creeped out by it, but I realised a certain feeling and emotion towards reading these fanfics. Funnily enough, I started to read more and more, and I had finally ventured closer into this forbidden world. Mind you, I live in a very asian family who is also quite religious as Christians ><
Anyways... I started to look at pictures, like yaoi pics you find on photobucket... At the time, I was like "I only like kissing and hugging... nothing more." Slowly, I began to look for a little more hardcore stuff, but really hardcore yaoi stuff are deleted immediately off photobucket, so I didn't see anymore. At around this time, I realised what kind of person I was.... so I totally freaked and went into an emo phase for three months.
Yes.... 3 MONTHS!!! My friends were quite worried at the time too... I just couldn't come out about it. I thought I was really weird. Then I realised that it wasn't a very big thing to worry about. Lots of people liked yaoi, and I was no different. It's natural for adolescent girls to be interested in yaoi. I was feeling slightly better about myself.
Slowly, when I met my ex-boyfriend and started Yr 11, I began to watch yaoi anime like Gravitation and Sukisyo... so it was still pretty light yaoi considering the other things. I kinda just stopped looking for pictures and what not. I still read fanfics and stuff, but it wasn't big. Then it hit me... I found my first yaoi manga, which was FAKE. I read it, I liked the story, but for some reason... I wanted more @.@;; After looking at the final scenes of the last volume, I wanted something more graphic. Lawl xD It's like how I was justifying myself in Year 10 by saying "yes.... I only like looking at kissing and light touching... It's only in anime form that I like.... nothing hardcore"

I began to find little bits and pieces of yaoi manga and stuff over the net. It wasn't a big thing until 6 months after I had broadband. I realised that my 12gb wasn't be fully used... so I purged the world wide web and looked for yaoi. At the time, Aarinfantasy was down, so I went into all the links they had. I mean ALL! There was like 30 and I looked through everyone of them >< Anyways, I had quite a small collection up to the point around October... After I broke up with my boyfriend, my yaoi collection just exploded. Now that I look at it, it's grown quite large O________o I seriously have no life ><
Anyways, after that, I started to watch the more serious yaoi anime... like Boku No Pico, Papa to Kiss at night, Level C, Sensitive Pornograph and etc. But I can safely say one thing tho... the only things I cannot watch is Boku No pico and Pico to Chico because it's Shota. Yes... I don't believe in Shota, I find it criminal and bad. I mean, this is just my own view and I don't condemn those who watch it, but just think about it. Innocent little kids being corrupted at an early age. I mean, how do kids understand emotions such as love when adults still find it confusing. How do they know if they like being taken at the back or not? Kids will believe anything you tell them. I just see that it's criminal because kids are undeveloped and you twist their mind and steal their innocence by subjecting to the dangers of life. In a way, it could be considered rape? Because they couldn't have possibly wanted it at first, unless there was some intense manipulation going on... Anyways, I don't support nor watch Shota...
Another thing is.... I don't like big muscly men... it kind of turns me off seeing two muscly men getting it on. Which gets me to the next point of the seme and uke relationship. I guess I look for that relationship the most. The dominant and good looking seme, then the submissive and feminine looking male uke. It's not always like this, but I usually like it when it's easy to distinguish between them. I find it hard to imagine a full muscle gay man getting it on with another full muscle gay man. It's hard to differentiate the seme and uke relationship, and it's quite weird to see one of them being the submissive kind XD

For those interested in yaoi. I recommend these sites to find unlicensed yaoi manga =D Alot of them have great stories, the art really depends on the person tho. I tend to go for the prettier ones, if not... just what sounds good or looks good. Best way to find out more about those mangakas or that particular yaoi title is to google the name and baka updates afterwards.

There are sooo many more scanlation groups, but those tend to be the ones I follow because I can do direct download from them. Unfortunately for alot of other places, you need IRC to download the stuff... it's too much of a hassle in my opinion to go to 5gb worth of yaoi in like 1-2 min time limit. So yea =3

Sorry, I'm really picky with my yaoi, so I tend to look for good drawings and good plot. I occassionally look for the smut, but I've given up on oneshots.... they really bore me... Haruka minami does lots of smut, but she also does really good plots and her drawings have the typical bishounen look. The seme and uke relationships are well established =D
Btw, some of those stuff can be found in Japanese section of Kino in the yaoi section <3
yes... I'm obsessive enough to purge through the whole yaoi section of Kino... both english and japanese version >_> And yes... I have purged through the Japanese section.... two book selves worth.... 4 times >< or was it more?
