its official. im not going to england next year. i talked to my advisor, and he advised me to go my junior year. weeeeelll...he technically said that either one would work. he gave me some benefits of going next year as opposed to junior year, and vice versa. i guess i just listened a little better to what he said about junior year. selective listening? probably. but at least it made making the decision that much easier. so i told mom about it, and i actually had dinner with dad tonight and told him about it too. i changed the subject quick though, to my exam scores that have been really good lately. its fun to have dinner with dad once in a while. i have actually found that i am learning things in my interpersonal communications class that makes it easier for me to talk to and understand him, so thats cool. we tried to fill out my fafsa, but that didnt end up working out very well cuz the server went down or something. pretty boring night, tonight was.
thats ok though, because i have had an eventful week. on wednesday, lisa, me aaron, angela and anna drove down to mankato to see the counting crows. it was an AWESOME show, we had general admission floor tickets, and we got really really close to the stage. we just kept tapping tall guys on the shoulder and asking them if we could stand in front of them cuz we couldnt see. what guy says no to 2 cute girls? exactly. so that ended up working out really well. then thursday i slept in really late and went and gave plasma with lindy. while i was waiting outside for her to get done, i met an interesting guy named ricky. i always seem to have a story to tell after spending the afternoon downtown. he used about every line in the book on me, including his opening line "do you have a cigarette?" then he smoothly transitioned into "you look really familiar" and then asked me if i go to the mall a lot, told me that he was bored and asked me what i was doing. hmm. right. anyway, that was fun. then i went over to sandy and jeremys and had rootbeer floats and watched friends. i dont know why im telling this story, other than the fact that im really bored and not tired.
lindsey and joseph are coming up tomorrow afternoon, so that should be fun. the only thing is that i want to watch the wild game, and i have a feeling that theyre not going to want to. its not really the thing that you do when friends drive 3 hours to come see you, but how often are the wild in the stanley cup quarter finals? anyway, im sure we will figure it out.
next weekend is easter and i cant decide whether or not i want to go home. i havent spent any significant amount of time at home since valentines day, and i cant say that i miss it all that much. theres really just not all that much to do there that i cant do up here. anyway, i have officially run out of ideas for things to update about, so i guess i will get going. if i think of something else i will for sure update, in case anyone cares all that much. what a cliff hanger...
