(no subject)
i got my astronomy book! yaaaaaaay! i dont think i have ever been so excited about spending $85 on a book. i havent actually had the chance to look at it much yet, i will do that tomorrow because monday is the last day to return textbooks to the bookstore. i also got the class email alias from the professor so i can send out an email and see if anyone wants to hook up for a study group. this is going to be a hard class, but i am determined to get an A.
other exciting news includes me organizing things. i finally cleaned out all my old notebooks and folders...i saved a few things, but mostly just threw things out. it felt so good ripping up old biology notes! anyway, i put everything important in this little file box thing that i got at target. so now when i need an important paper, i just have to go look in its file, rather than sifting through a stack of paper taller than me on my desk. i also went through and wrote all my exams and assignment due dates in my planner so that i can be sure to be prepared for things. anyway, that was really exciting for me and it feels really good to finally have EVERYTHING in order.
well, not everything. i still dont have a job. however, the lady from cellular one called me yesterday and wanted to know if i could come in for a second interview. but before we set up the interview, she basically set up a work schedule for me, around my class schedule. anyway, the schedule would be: MWF 1-5 and TTH 5-9, plus i think every other saturday. so thats like 20-26 hours per week. im not sure if i will be able to handle all those hours. monday and wednesday would look like this: class from 9:00-12:00, work from 1:00-5:00, class from 6:00-8:30. tuesday and thursday would be class from 2:00-4:00, work from 5:00-9:00. friday would be almost the same as monday and wednesday, but without the night class. so basically i will get nothing accomplished at all on mondays or wednesdays because i will be running around like a chicken with my head cut off. anyway, im getting way ahead of myself here, because i dont even know if i GOT the job or not yet. thats all for now, i needta get to sleep so i can get up in the morning and read astronomy!! yay!!
