the show was awesome!!
friday i worked on the USS Sanantonio in Port Everglades, which is in Fort Lauderdale, FL
it was a 500 person VIP party for 3 & 4 star ranked generals and friends. it was cool, but i forgot to bring my camera with me.
there were parachuters that came down at the beginning, 2 bands that played as well as 2 performances by groups and fireworks when it ended.
i was working front of the house (serving) so i passed hor'dourves, carved pork & passed deserts. as well as cleaning up / breaking stuff down.
saturday was the first day of the air & sea show. started off at 7am. walked to where i was supposed to be. i watched the sun come up on the atlantic ocean. it was awesome.
we catered to the fenced off area which was 1000-3000 for both days. so, there was a ton of food going out and a lot of food wasted, as catering goes...
i was working for the VIP tent where they were serving pretty high end stuff.
sunday was pretty much the same. except we broke stuff down and had to load up the trucks.
