Geeking Out
Hey Chicon friends!
I'm taking another day to go to the Art Institute, it was awesome last time! I was an art history major, so I kinda have a thing for art museums. I'll probably go on Thursday, that way I can go back again after the con if I don't get to see everything I wanted to.
Of course I need to visit Sunday on La Grand Jatte:
There's an exhibit I want to see, I'm kinda psyched about it:
Undressed, the Fashion of Privacy
It's a companion exhibition to the one I just saw at The Met - Impressionism, Fashion and Modernity, which will also be there in Chicago at the same time we're gonna be there! It's an awesome concept exhibit, they showed paintings as well as some of the actual gowns worn by the women in the paintings.
There's also an exhibit of Late Roman and early Byzantine stuff from the British Museum.
