"I'm so sorry, I thought you were a waiter."
I got little accomplished this weekend. I edited Lizards. I watched season 2 and caught up with season 3 of Downton Abbey (I am hopelessly addicted) and I rewatched the entirety of Full Metal Alchemist.
I was about 85% done with the edit of Lizards, and had it down to 134,000 words. Then the muses reared their heads, the IE and Helga have been at odds on the story and they came to a compromise and attacked me with it last night. So now I've gone back to the top and I'm editing out 2 characters and their storylines. Which means anything they did of importance has to be shifted over to different characters. *facepalm* I feel bad "killing off" these characters, but the cast is too big and there are too many storylines going on for a stranger to read, IMO. I can follow it, but it is probably confusing to anyone else. *sniff* The POV switches are killing me!
And that's about it. I was a couch mashed potato this weekend. Curled up in my blankies with a pillow, the remote and Netflix.
Need to go earn my pay now. My work email box is full to overflowing, the downside of 3-day weekends.
