That was more amusing than dark. If it were a romance novel they'd fall in love. But yeah, not a good scenario to be stuck in!

I forget a lot of the time that almost all of the reading I did in high school and college was bodice rippers. Hundreds of bodice rippers. My formulative years were spent reading trashy paperbacks!
