I do not like the new changes that LJ has made. This is the straw that has broken the camel's back.

The changes are making it impossible to do fandom stuff from a phone. The extra icons are going away, we'll be getting a credit for the extra icons. WTF!?! I paid for something and I want it, assholes.

I have a permanent account over here on LJ. But I am feeling like the end is near. Stupid Russians buying the site. Still I feel I've gotten my $150 out of it.

Remind me of all this tomorrow. It is too late in the day for me to try to open a new account over at Dreamwidth.

nudge nudge. it's pretty easy to sign up. It works almost the same as LJ, the only gripe I have is that photos have to be uploaded to another site and linked from DW.

I'm Traycer over on DW and it's supposed to be a duplicate of my journal here on LJ, but I keep forgetting to update that thing!! Every once in awhile I go in and check to see what was missed and do a copy/paste to bring it up to date again, but feel free to add me if you'd like. As for me, I still plan to be posting in both places, like always.

I forgot where I read it, I read a ton of stuff today after seeing so many complaints. It was supposition, I think.

I set up a DW a couple DDoS attacks ago (cyen2132) but I haven't used it yet. I've been dickering over importing my LJ to it, because you have to give it your LJ password. (I keep meaning to change the LJ password to something wildly different, import it to DW, and then change it back, but haven't yet).

Because yes, this new comment structure is awful, particularly in communities that get massive conversations going. (Though, I notice yours hasn't made the switch. Is it because of your layout?) I'm just not liking the direction Livejournal seems to be heading.

I think it's because I'm viewing in my style, which is customized a little.

I didn't know I could import the whole shebang. I'm going to give that a good think.
