Veteran's Day
Just wondering how many are going to thank our service men and women for serving to honor this nation by protecting our freedom both in peace time and at war?
I wonder if anyone will thank me for serving at peace time? When I wore my uniform one Veteran's day after I was out of the Corps, I got spat and jeered for being a "War monger" and "Child Killer". I've never been thanked for my service of 4 years of my life to serve ... even if I did not go to war, I could have and would have died for my country. Not whining or complaining, just commenting because I know there are a lot of service men out there that never been thanked for giving a few years of their life to serve, even if they only served in peace time. It's something to think about!
