"Solaris was a god once - a sun god, as his name would suggest. Humans, in their infinite gall, experimented with Solaris. They wanted his powers, his ability to go back in time. One too many experiments later... he Broke. He split into two beings, Mephiles and Iblis. The humans were frightened, they sealed them away... but they broke loose.
Solaris, whole once again, vowed revenge on humanity. He tried to erase them from existence. He failed, and was reduced to embers, scattered through time. His appearance here suggests he managed to pull himself together, but not quite enough to make himself complete.
Since he can no longer strike at humanity as a whole, he's content to snipe and snarl at those who once hurt him. Even if they can't remember..."
So, yeah ... I'm willing to fight this guy if he decides to start hurting people again, so you know.

It wasn't humans who sealed them away. Although it's good to know that he isn't whole.

So, what, you're the one that helped seal him away before? Why else would he be after you?
